At Varley Nik Shop, we approach your satisfaction with the same precision we apply to crafting our premium wardrobe essentials. Should any item not meet your expectations, our returns process is designed to be as seamless as our Perfect Rib Knit Top.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:
- In original condition with tags attached
- Unworn, unwashed, and free of any odors
- In original packaging with all protective coverings
Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on knitwear (including our Cardigans and Knit Tops + Tees) that have been tried on without a protective layer underneath. Final sale items marked as such are also non-returnable.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Submit Your Request: Email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the items you wish to return or exchange. Use our template below for clarity.
- Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 24-48 hours with return instructions and an RMA number.
- Package Your Items: Securely pack the items in their original packaging, including the RMA number visible on the outside.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to our Delaware facility using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days of receiving your return.
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Notification: You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued.
Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- We’ll ship your new item once we receive and process your return.
- If the exchange item is of higher value, you’ll be charged the difference.
- For lower value items, we’ll refund the difference to your original payment method.
Exchanges are subject to availability. If your desired item is out of stock, we’ll contact you to discuss alternatives or process a refund.
International Returns
For customers outside the United States:
- You are responsible for any customs duties or taxes associated with the return shipment.
- We recommend declaring the package as “Returned Goods” to potentially reduce fees.
- Please note we cannot refund original shipping charges for international orders.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item from our collections (whether it’s one of our Dresses + Skirts or Shirts + Blouses), please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a prepaid return label and expedite your replacement or refund.
